Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Planning:

Develop production schedules and timelines for each collection. Monitor production plans as necessary to meet deadlines.

Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any production-related issues promptly.

Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality control standards for materials and finished products. Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to ensure adherence to timeline and quality standards. Implement corrective actions and improvements as needed to maintain product quality.

Cost Management: Monitor production costs and budgets. Manage inventory levels to prevent overproduction or underproduction.

Logistics and Distribution: Coordinate the transportation and distribution of finished products to distribution centers. Work closely with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery. Monitor inventory levels to support demand forecasting and replenishment.

Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of production assistants. Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they meet production goals and targets.

Compliance: Ensure that production processes comply with all relevant regulations and ethical standards. Reporting: Generate regular reports on production progress, costs, and performance. Present production-related data and analysis to senior management.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as fashion production, supply chain management, or business. At least 7 years of experience in production coordination within the fashion industry. Strong knowledge of production processes, including materials sourcing, manufacturing, and quality control. Proficiency in project management, scheduling, and budget management. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of sustainable and ethical production practices is a plus.
