POSITION TITLE: Sourcing Assistant, Special Projects

POSITION REPORTS TO: Sr Manager Sourcing

The Sourcing Assistant is responsible for sourcing in conjunction with the product development process under the direction of the Sr Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

Primary responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with Sr Manager and Design on R&D


  • Collaborate with Sr Manager in the research and development of new sourcing opportunities


  • Escalate unresolved issues to upper management for quick solution by all functional teams


  • Receive, distribute, and send parcels for the department


  • Working with counterparts to resolve development and production issues


  • Daily follow up/email communications with cross functional team on shore and off shore


  • Handle other responsibilities and projects as assigned


  • Receive and distribute submits, protos & parcels for the department

PLM Data work / in season system responsibilities

  • Review/Ensure tech pack accuracy

  • Assign color & NRF code (Correct NRF Duplicates)


  • Troubleshoot style flow issues


  • Run Seasonal Line Matrix/PLM Accuracy report at Style/Color level


  • Allocate Vendors in PLM during tech pack pass off


  • Responsible for Entefy Cost Ledger pulls and audits


  • System management for Factory/Vendor approvals (new factories, name changes, etc.) and add to VMS




  • Category management


    • Understand seasonal strategies to align day to day priorities


    • Engage PVH offshore offices and/or Supply Chain Partners for solutions as it relates to business needs


    • Engage with cross functional teams & ensure calendar deadlines are met


    • Assist manager with allocation of development & sample requests.


    • Track status and delivery of samples


    • Understanding of product costs


    • Collaborate with PVH offshore offices and factories directly on daily tasks

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sourcing, product development and/or production.

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree in related field


  • A textile/PD or manufacturing-related background is preferred.



Skills:


  • Computer skills - Full MS Office Suite.


  • Knowledge of or experience with PDM is helpful.


  • Top-notch follow up skills are essential.


  • Proactive personality is needed.


  • Excellent communication skills.


  • Good interpersonal skills



INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONTACTS:

Internal: Design, Product Development, Raw Materials, Merchandising,

Technical Design, Customs Compliance, and Production teams

External: PVH Hub offices, ISM suppliers

Pay Range: $55,000 - $65,000
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements.
